The Detroit Urban Research Center's Annual Networking Social provides a unique opportunity to meet others with similar research interests and, through both structured and unstructured networking activities, to identify potential partners for future collaborations. The gathering is always enjoyable and has yielded successful research collaborations. As in past years, the Detroit URC will provide complimentary appetizers, transportation to and from Ann Arbor, and valet parking.

The Detroit Community-Academic Urban Research Center (Detroit URC) is a partnership of multiple community-based organizatons in Detroit, the Detroit Health Department, Henry Ford Health System, and academic researchers from the University of Michigan Schools of Public Health, Social Work, and Nursing. For more than two decades, the Detroit URC has been fostering health equity in Detroit through community-based participatory research.
